Yakisugi Brown Spruce

Spruce is one of the most common trees in Estonian forests, and is also one of the most versatile tree species. Spruce wood is mainly used as siding boards, as spruce has a more uniform density and is more durable than pine. This ensures a longer lifespan for the siding board. We want to offer natural wood even longer-lasting protection and a more interesting appearance, offering wood processing solutions based on the ancient, traditional and stylish yakisugi technique. Charring wood (yakisugi) is a completely natural way to process wood, also ensuring a pleasant aesthetic appearance. During the wood processing process, the natural tones of the wood are brought out and the wood pattern is emphasized. The wood also becomes very resistant to environmental factors (UV radiation, water, insects, rot). Overall, the yakisugi technique is not only visually beautiful, but also very practical. Production time is approximately 2-3 weeks, depending on the quantity.
